Broom: Nimbus 2001, a broom her stepfather gave her when she started her second year. Though the family could now afford a better broom for her, she prefers it is because it was her first broom.

Wand: 12” Hawthorn wood with a thestral hair core

Character Appearance: 5’9’’ with fair complexion. Her hair is a reddish-brown and her eyes are green. She has an overall athletic build, but isn’t a stick.

Personality: Korey is close to those she takes the time to get to know, and is outwardly nice but in general is somewhat of a loner. She is very loyal to her close friends and will do whatever she can to protect them, but it takes awhile to get to that point with her. She prefers to keep company with those that are relatively mature, and gets annoyed rather easily with people- especially if they are immature.

Relationship Status: Single

Weaknesses: She can be gullible sometimes, and therefore easily manipulated when she lets her guard down, though it takes more for her to let her guard down now as a result. She also gets irritated and its hard for her to look past that in some cases. She is also very bad about slacking off on her studies. She is not very strong in herbology and divination.

Strengths: She is very headstrong and independent and can stand on her own feet. She is very creative and can make connections on things that others sometimes can’t. She also excels at charms and potions, and is slowly becoming stronger in transfiguration.

Likes: She enjoys swimming and loves animals. She also sometimes likes to read, but prefers to write. She enjoys spending time with her close friends.

Dislikes: She doesn’t like to study, and she doesn’t often like to be in large groups for a long period of times.

Special Ability Section: Korey is well skilled at both occlumency and legilimens, something taught to her by her stepfather at a very young age.

Character History:
Korey has a younger half sister that is a first year at Hogwarts. Both her parents are wizards, though she only knows her mother. Her father and mother never married, as he was put into Azkaban not long after Korey was born. He still claims he is innocent though he was convicted of being associated with and corroborating with the death eaters. He claims he was under the Imperius curse and didn’t realize that the people he was housing were death eaters, but the courts would hear nothing of it. They claimed to have evidence to the contrary, and proof that he had been on the side of the death eaters.

Even to this day, Korey’s mother is not sure whether she believes him or not, and though he likely wont ever make it out of prison, she doesn’t think she can let him back into her daughter’s life. She was livid that he had brought danger so close to their daughter, and worried about the safety of her daughter. Her good friend suggested she train her daughter in the arts of Occlumency and Legilimens to break any connection she may have had to the death eaters and make it harder for them to have a way of getting to her.

Her teacher ended up becoming her stepfather, and not long after they married, her mother gave birth to her half sister, Katrina. Her stepfather had always taken care of her, and therefore she looks at him as a father figure and ignores the fact that it isn’t biological. She grew up in the world of magic and always had a very heavy interest in it, as well as in the muggle world and how they survive without magic.

Her stepfather's best friend has a daughter the same age as Korey and they are best friends and dormmates. Korey is working on teaching her friend both arts.
